(English) Limpley Stoke Tai Chi with Julian PADGET

Désolé, cet article est seulement disponible en English.

This class started in Autumn 2024. We meet in Limpley Stoke village hall on Tuesday evenings (except for the first Tuesday of the month) and so far we have had one 10 week session before Christmas and another after, with a break from after Easter until September.

The class follows the common pattern of a warm up then a breathing exercise (dao-yin) or a yoga-like exercise (kai-men) – or both – including some partner work, after which we practice a form and conclude with a closing down exercise.

About Julian PADGET

TAO Member Since:

1999

Grades:

Tai Chi : 2nd Tengchi

I started practising t'ai-chi in the late 1990s as a means to get away from the day job mentally and physically, in particular to do something to counterbalance the amount of time spent at a desk in front of a computer. The job hasn't changed, but 25+ years later I'm still doing - and learning about - t'ai-chi and grateful for how it helps me continue to handle the day job, plus it has brought me into a wonderful community of people who enjoy practising, learning and teaching the Li family system.
