Our small friendly class runs every Monday evening for two hours from 7.30pm at Achmore Hall. We always welcome new people to the class whatever experience. We begin our class with a warm up followed by a Kai Men exercise, which may be translated as ‘open door’ and these exercises are sometimes called Taoist yoga. We then go through the Li family style Tai Chi form, which is a set of slow traditional moves that when fallowing the basic principles will ensure that the body is properly aligned and the movements will develop a natural range and articulation of the joints without force or impact. The Kyle class is a small, fun, lighthearted class. We always welcome beginners and hope you feel at ease straight away
